I’m a photographer. And I love what I do.

followell fotography got its start in 2007 when I graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from Mississippi College, and moved forward in search of the career path God would have me take. After having spent much of my college career enhancing my skills as a designer and artist, I was searching for the medium that seemed to fit me best, and a camera fell into my lap. I learned quickly that my niche was working in an art form that included contact with people everyday. Photography was the perfect fit.

In May of 2009, the business nestled into a permanent studio location in the historic business district of Clinton, Mississippi (in the Jackson metro area). The studio is my workplace and client meeting area. My work will always be very location-driven and inspired by natural and urban surroundings, and therefore no shooting takes place in the studio. Five months after I officially opened my doors, followell fotography was recognized as Jackson’s Best Photographer by WAPT’s A-List.
 
My philosophy and approach to photography are simple: capture the fun of real life. My goal is to document stilled imagery that absorbs the viewer in the moment, in the experience. It is both my passion for art and love for people that help me accomplish that goal.

The real credit for my success so far belongs to my Jesus and my wife, Jessica. It’s a true team effort – Jesus sustains and Jessica supports. Now, if I could only learn to listen to both of them a whole lot more.

Sally could be anywhere doing many different things: she's got a degree in education and job experience in all sorts of areas, but, decided in May of 2011 that she needed to join the fun and take the reigns as studio manager. 

Call it fate, or, me only hiring people I like, but, the Garcias aren't new to the Followells. Sally and her husband, Justin, are two of our closest friends. In fact, Robby and Justin sort of play in a band together (if you count leading worship at our church). And, Justin is the very creator of the f| f web site. So, essentially, with the hiring of Sally, I've secured a web programmer to our team as well (sneaky sneaky--don't tell Justin).

Brides, you're gonna love working with Sally. She's a girl's girl and happens to love talking about weddings, which, is what she does every day. So, call her up, e-mail her up, she'll keep you straight, and hopefully do the same for me.

Wedding coverage begins at $3150. All packages include at least 6 hours of coverage. Please contact us for more details.

Portrait sessions (Engagement, Bridal, and Family Sessions) are $295, which includes up to two hours of coverage and a selection of prints.
